The statement on environmental policy features the following: The enterprise recognises its responsibility with regards to the environment in the countries where it operates, and shall systematically and in the conduct of business:
- adhere to national and local laws
- make efforts to control and reduce any known negative environmental impact caused by its processes and products
- further the development of products, packaging and processes, adapting to the real needs of our customers and consumers with regard to the environment.
In addition, the farmer policy and ecological products are part of the environment. Although we have maintained a 'small farmer' policy for many years, we are now in the process of implementing 'sustainable coffee' as a next step.
